Eckerd College Program for Experienced Learners Visual Artists Faculty Exhibition
The show opened in Eckerd College’s Elliott Gallery on January 9 and runs through February 4, 2011.
Henderson says, "In each form of my artwork, whether two- or three- dimensional, painting, assemblage, or ritual performance and installation, I speak metaphorically of a golden dream of peace and harmony. In this world, animals are connected to divinity, women and men work in partnership, humans understand the unity of all things, and the web of life is intact. This is the wild invisible world that is with us in our hearts. My work is my means of expressing the understanding that peace is possible and justice inevitable."
Henderson is an adjunct art professor at Eckerd College.
